Does education inequality lead to violent conflict?

  • UNICEF House, Danny Kaye Center 3 United Nations Plaza New York, NY, 10017 United States (map)

UNICEF and FHI 360 cordially invite you to a panel discussion examining the newest evidence on the linkages between systematic inequality in education and the risk of violent civil conflict, and the ways of sustaining learning in conflict-affected environments. The panel will bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss the implications of the evidence, the role that education can play in strengthening peace and security, and the ways to advance the importance of investment in educational equity, particularly in fragile environments.
